Pens in 7!!!!! are you on Crack. No way that series goes past 6 games. I am a Pens fan and I completely respect the Islanders turning their game and getting in the playoffs. Tavares is going to be a great player (if he isnt in those ranks yet) But you have to remember that one or two good players can not carry a team in the playoffs. Tavares is untested in playoff hockey. I know the regular season is a diffrent beast but the Pens out scored the Islanders 17 - 9. I think this game goes to 5 and the Islanders get much needed playoff experience.

I think our defense and goaltending will keep us in most games ,but if its also tasked to produce most of the offense it might be a bit much.Our forwards need to learn how to score consistantly quick. This being said i think our forwards will stumble and we lose because of this

Sens, in 6 is my prediction.

Pens fans are still spooked by the whipping the Flyers put on them last year. Scratch below the surface you might find a little paranoia. Some of them desperately fear a repeat of last year.

My final predictions ( I think the leaf bruins series will be a lot closer then most maybe even a 7 game series depending on how it all plays out the leafs to me rely heavily on intimidation and being physical and boston will not back down that could actually play to the leafs advantage imo where if they where to have played mtl even though they owned them in the season their intimidation tactics wouldn't have worked in the play offs causing the leafs to either roll 3 lines or let the fourth line get frustrated and take stupid penalties cause they cant control their tempers)

Habs in 7 - but who really cares because neither team is going anywhere after this round.
Rags in 7 - NY has the better goalie
Bruins in 5 - Bos defense should be able to shut down the Loafs.

If he puts in the work he could even be like a 1B.

First I'm not angry. I think he is overestimating the Islanders. I even gave the Islanders props for their play. I just think they are unmatched this season. If this would have been a normal year and we didn't get Iginla,Morrow,Jokinin and Murray it would be a closer series.
Second we are gun shy about the playoffs but we believe our team can overcome that.

And to the person who was offended I said Tavares could be great. One season does not guarantee the great moniker. He needs more seasons like this and some hardware. Which i believe he gets in the next few seasons
